CBT TheRapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based form of talking therapy that focuses on how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected. It helps you identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.

Rather than focusing heavily on the past, CBT is solution-focused and aims to give you tools you can use in your everyday life.

My approach

CBT therapy and coaching sessions are usually between 8-12 sessions. Longer-term counselling sessions are also available and we would discuss your goals and needs in our initial discussion. 

To help you decide if I am the right person for you I offer a 15/20 minute phone call where you can tell me more about yourself and what you would like to achieve. You will get a taste of how therapy or coaching works and see if we feel comfortable working together. There is no obligation.

Cost – 60 for 1hr.

I have an allocation of client spaces at negotiated discounted rates for face-to face/online counselling sessions for trainee counsellors, NHS workers and low-income individuals where possible.

In-person counselling sessions take place at my home in St Neots or can be online if preferred. 

I also offer walk-and-talk sessions in the outdoors if you prefer. This might take place at Riverside Park, St Neots or a local, nearby nature reserve.
